Bowel II Formula in general is used to clean out the pockets in the itestinal tract. It acts as a bulking agent. It is to be used after you are having two to three bowel movements per day. Do not use when constipated.

Psyllium husk - rich in mucins and swelling progestins that exert laxative and anti-diarrhea effect. It lowers serum cholesterol levels, decreases gall stone formation and decreases feeling of fullness. It absorbs water to increase bowel content and acts as a stool softener. May also relieve hemorrhoid irritation.
Green Clay - 99% Bentonite absorbs and neutralizes urine (chemicals, undigested protein...) neutralizes harmful acids.
Apple fiber - contains pectin, which is a swelling agent and has a mild binding effect. Helps to regulate bowel function.
Horseradish - demonstrates an anti spasmodic effect, excellent diuretic and is good for digestion. Dissolves mucas.
Slippery Elm Bark - is demulcent, emollient and soothing to the alimentary canal. Commonly used in treatment of gastritis.
